Answers the challenge “to produce the goods at half the price”, especially for pacific island schools, and is specifically designed to partner the Student 101 fume cupboard
The fan housing is fabricated from uPVC for chemical resistance.
Panels are precisely cut and fully welded together. All fixings are stainless steel.
Injection moulded backward curve impeller.
The impeller is dynamically balanced and is direct driven by a single phase motor.
Economical to run, only 113W @ 230V.
200mm dia inlet, 150mm dia flue.
Permanent drain with a water seal trap supplied.
Ingenious roof bracket
Adjustable for roof pitch and purlin spacing
Rigid support for both the fan and the flue.
Hot Dip Galvanised.
Easy installation
The Student 101 fume cupboard and Fumeflow 101 fan are supplied complete with duct, flue, and accessories.
This durable, high performance fume exhaust fan is designed to complement Smoothflow and SashDrive fume cupboards.
The fan housing is fabricated from uPVC for optimum chemical resistance. Panels are precisely CNC cut and fully welded together. All fixings are stainless steel or chemical and UV resistant plastic.
The fan is assembled on a durable stainless steel chassis, which gives the fan great mechanical strength, and is designed to support both the fan and the typical stack. Unlike alternative brands, the stack need not be braced in most situations, because the Fumeflow D250 fan chassis distributes equal load at each corner mount.
The injection moulded polypropylene backward curve impeller is non-overloading, and avoids build up of solids. The impeller is dynamically balanced and is direct driven by an alloy frame three phase motor.
Commonly the motor operates on 230V single phase supply through a phase inverter. The inverter gives the extra benefit of simple motor speed adjustment to optimum airflow. The inverter can also adapt to variable air volume from a SashDrive signal.
In-line Centrifugal Fume Exhaust Fan is designed to complement Student fume cupboards.
The Fumeflow TD250 is a direct drive bifurcated centrifugal fan. The fan housing is thermo-formed and fabricated from uPVC for optimum chemical resistance. All fixings are stainless steel or chemical and UV resistant plastic. The injection moulded polypropylene backward curve impeller is non-overloading, and avoids build up of solids. The impeller is dynamically balanced and is direct driven by an alloy frame single phase motor. The Fumeflow TD250 fan‘ light weight enables it to mount directly on to the exhaust stack without brackets or bends.
It does not require a cowl because the internal shape weathers the lower duct and water drains out through holes in the inlet plate. The exhaust stack extension is simply braced by stainless steel guy wires.
This simplified duct arrangement reduces the capital cost of the Student Package, which includes all necessary installation hardware such as roof flashing, fixings and guy wires.
The Fumeflow TD250 fan is manufactured with an integral speed preset adjustment. It is designed for a specific duty of 250L/sec, to match Student fume cupboards.
The Fumeflow TD400 is a direct drive bifurcated centrifugal fan. The fan housing is thermo-formed and fabricated from uPVC for optimum chemical resistance. All fixings are stainless steel or chemical and UV resistant plastic.

Commonly the motor operates on 230V single phase supply through a phase inverter. The inverter gives the extra benefit of simple motor speed adjustment to optimum airflow. The inverter can also adapt to variable air volume from a reference signal.
The Fumeflow D65 is specifically designed for ventilating chemical storage cabinets. The motor is out of the airstream, so it is suitable for ventilating a wide range of chemical storage. It is sized to suit 65mm PVC vent pipe.
The fan housing is fabricated from uPVC for optimum chemical resistance. Panels are precisely CNC cut and fully welded together. All fixings are stainless steel or chemical and UV resistant plastic. The fan case is welded to a PVC foot plate.
The radial impeller of bright polished stainless steel is direct driven by a 30W, 230V single phase motor.
We don’t have performance tables for this fan, but we can say that when connected to a twin skin metal storage cabinet such as Pratt, in a typical ducted vent situation, it will exhaust 10-12 L/sec – enough for a 250L capacity storage cabinet.
